I finally got my lightbox set up so I’m excited to finally take pictures with it (I was getting tired of taking pictures outside, it’s such a hassle to wait for daylight). So I grabbed my two favorite Nubar polishes from my collection just to test it out. Indigo Illusion is SUCH a gorgeous color & it applies so well. From this angle, it looks green & gold, but when you hold the bottle upright, it looks like a dusty blue/purple color. I’m a sucker for duochromes. The bottle next to it is Nubar 2010, the flakies top coat; perfect accent to any nail polish color.

Polishes & colors I used:

• Forever 21 - “Lavender” I put “” because every time I go to Forever 21, their polishes are labeled differently. I’ll see two totally different polishes with the same name. But this has to be one of my favorite shades from them, I love this purple.

• Nfu Oh #50 - I have an obsession with flakies & this is a new addition to my precious Nfu Oh’s! I wanted a summer color & I thought this mix would be perfect. I’m loving the green / blue flakies!

• OPI “Alpine Snow” - This is the white I used for stamping

• Konad image plate m61 - the floral design

• Seche Vite Top Coat

If any of you guys decide on getting any of the Nfu Oh flakies, I would suggest to wear them with a base color (this one looks really good on top of black). These go on a bit sheer (I used no base color) & I had to use a few coats to make it opaque, just so you get a good idea of the color.

Happy Memorial Day to you all! It’s a beautiful day in Southern California. Lounged back & relaxed from an exhausting weekend; then I decided to change my nail color.
