1) Thank you! It’s Cacee Art Glitter & Confetti #89. 2) Hey Amista! Ugh, girl, I don’t know what to do anymore about all my stolen photos. I just think it’s rude for anyone do that to other people’s stuff; we put work into it! And I also hate that I can’t post links in the ask either -__- Thanks for letting me know <33) I get them at my usual nail supply store in Orange County (here in California). I can’t find them anywhere else but online. And thanks!4) Yes! It’s this manicure (I double watermarked it because I often see it photoshopped out):5) I got mine from aviva-beauty.net :) Thank you! Glad you enjoy it.6) Seche Vite has a specific thinner for their top coat. You can find it at certain beauty supply stores; I’d suggest searching around online first. For me, I just have a huge bottle of Seche Vite that I use to refill my little bottle each time. I haven’t gotten the time to grab the thinner; I really should though..7) Thank you thank you! I love that manicure (explains the icon hehe). Look for floral decals on eBay! SO CHEAP! And one of my favorite decal sellers is Crazy Stripes (not water decals though..they’re like stickers, kinda like Sally Hansens’) 8) Yes, Filipina! But no, I was born & raised here in California.

1) Thank you! I’m Filipino.
2) Are your Essie or OPI polishes sheer & too thin? I usually use opaque colors, ones that aren’t so see-through. Try picking a color that’s thick, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a light or dark color, just as long as it’s opaque…and once you scrape it off, pick it up with your stamper right away because it can dry very quickly. Let me know how it works out!
3) Yes you can! I have a couple acrylic paint colors, I just never used them. But a bunch of nail techs use it for nail art & it’s pretty amazing. I’m no pro though.

Henna print by hand. I’m not used to doing any crazy artwork by brush on my nails, but I have an obsession with henna designs (I think henna tattoos are gorgeous) so I wanted to try. I tried, tried..
I was inspired by Robin Moses—she is a nail art GENIUS & is so very talented. She uses acrylic paint & she can work miracles on nails. I honestly wish I had her skills.

1) I love them! I have a bunch. I love that they’re cheap & sometimes they have really unique colors. I love their muted colors & nude ones especially because they have a light shimmer. I even remember seeing a green flakies polish, I just never bought it. Application isn’t the greatest, & they take a bit to dry, but if you have patience for it, I’d say get them. The price & colors takes the win!
2) I buy them at a beauty store nearby called ACE Beauty & at Nordstrom. Not quite sure if it’s only available here in the US. And thank you!
3) You can always buy the image plates separately, but they are $13.99 here! http://www.aviva-beauty.net/koimplwaysts.html
4) Thank you so much! I’m still in awe about it, I’m so glad everyone liked them :)

Forever 21 - “Lavender” I put “” because every time I go to Forever 21, their polishes are labeled differently. I’ll see two totally different polishes with the same name. But this has to be one of my favorite shades from them, I love this purple.
Nfu Oh #50 - I have an obsession with flakies & this is a new addition to my precious Nfu Oh’s! I wanted a summer color & I thought this mix would be perfect. I’m loving the green / blue flakies!

Q&A

valgal47 asked:

Hi! I just followed you because I’m slightly obsessed with nails and you are the greatest inspiration! haha I have a question: where do you get the tools for the nail stamping? And/or any other tools you use for homemade manicures?

You are so sweet, thank you! For nail stamping, I bought my Konad tools online from aviva-beauty.net & some of the plates I buy from a local retailer. And regarding other tools, I just use some brushes that I bought off of eBay! I just searched “nail art brushes” & they have them for like $3, free shipping from China. You may have to wait a couple weeks, but it’s way better than wasting your money on expensive, overpriced brushes. And then I just have the typical stuff like cuticle remover, nail files, wooden manicure sticks & I also find sponges to come in handy if I wanna do gradient manicures & what not.

naneworld asked:

Hi! So I’ve got 2 questions for you!
1) I’m going to the States next month and I’d really love to buy a lot of nail polishes and stuff for nail art etc. Do you know in which stores I can get the best deals? :-)
2) I was wondering, do you use nail brushes like these : http://www.trekellnails.com/nail-art-brushes.html
if you do, can you also tell me a store for them? ‘Cause here in Belgium, they’re quite expensive…

That was it! Thank you so much! :-)

P.S.: I LOVE your blog, it’s really amazing!

Thank you! :) So to answer question #1, I’m not quite sure where you’re visiting so I’m not sure what stores carry great deals =\ But I do know that Sally Beauty Supply, JC Penny, ULTA, Trade Secret are just a couple popular places to buy nail polish, but they’re all at retail price. You can also go on Yelp.com & find any beauty stores that are nearby & see what they carry :)

And to answer your second question, I DO use brushes like that, but you can get them really cheap on eBay for like $3, free shipping! I’d rather buy them on eBay than from any other store. Just look up “Nail art brushes” in the Search.

Anonymous asked:

Do you ever worry about the warning label on the Seche Vite top coat?

Mm, not really. I don’t sit there & inhale the bottle like a druggie. I also do my nails in fully ventilated rooms. If I was pregnant, maybe I’d be more careful to use it. I also think it’s because California has super strict laws when it comes to labeling.

Anonymous asked:

I dont understand what water nail decals are? :((((

Water slide decals are on paper & usually have designs on them; you dip them in water for a few seconds & transfer it to your nails. They’re not stickers though & take a bit more time to work with. You can look up how to use them on YouTube! I will try to do a tutorial soon.

Anonymous asked:

What are some of the worst nail polishes you have tried?

Hmm…I think Sinful Colors are great for nail art, but I’ve tried some that are streaky & don’t apply well. I also didn’t like Hello Kitty by Sephora - Minty on me nor did I like the application; I think it would look better on fairer skin. But most of the polishes that I’ve used in my collection are pretty good!

br0lax asked:

ohhh my god! all of your nail designs are beautiful! you HAVE to do tutorials on them! btw, what colors do you recommend for summer?

Thanks love! :) I’ll try & do more tutorials in the future, during my spare time. Hmm, some Summer colors I’d say are Essie - Nice is Nice, Essie - Haute as Hello, OPI - No Room for the Blues, OPI Red Hot Gift, Essie - Mint Candy Apple, Essie - Shorty Pants..I’ll try & think of more :)

Anonymous asked:

Which top coat and which brand do you use?

Seche Vite! Nice shine & dries quick.

emilyelizabethxo asked:

hello! i live in the UK and i love all your manicures, especially the glitter ones. i was wondering if you knew anywhere to get the Milani Gems glitter nail polish you used which was so similar to DL’s Happy Birthday? i’m presuming target is an american store, but i would love to know if they sell it over here? i can’t find it on ebay by typing Milani Gems, any ideas?
em x

Hi Emily! I think I found some on Amazon.com & I think I just saw some on eBay a couple days ago…maybe you can re-check :)

ambitiouslychasinggod asked:

Your blog is AMAZING! I’ve recently become obsessed with nail polish and keeping my nails done. do you think you can do a video on painting nails and some simple designs for beginners. Or if not some type of picture of maybe a spongebob related design would greatly appreciate it!!!!

Thanks sweetie! I would love to do videos more often, if only I had the time. Haha maybe I can do a Spongebob manicure soon. My boyfriend, kids & I love that show! :P

rosamor asked:

Thanks for showing my post some love :)

I really like your nail designs! You are so talented!

Of course! That manicure was absolutely adorable! I’m a sucker for anything floral, especially roses :)

“All love, no hate.”A couple days ago, Vicky suggested that I do NOH8 nails for the LA Pride Festival which we attended in WeHo yesterday. The kids & I were able to take a picture at the NOH8 Campaign booth, something I’ve been wanting to do since they first began. Unfortunately my boyfriend Mark had work so we couldn’t take a complete family picture, but the photoshoots often come around to LA so there’s always next time. I got a couple compliments on the nails, even from NOH8’s photographer Adam Bouska :) I love his work! But I think the ones who were catching everyone’s attention were the kids with their NOH8 temporary tattoos on their cheeks! :P I loved that we were able to go & show our support. Like I wrote on my personal blog, marriage should not be defined by race, religion, social status, gender, etc. Love is love & marriage should be equal.

Notice I still have my water decal manicure on my right hand, ha.

OPI Shatters are up for sale in my eBay store! Check it out HERE.Available colors: White, Turquoise, Blue, Red, Navy & Black. I am currently sold out of Silver Shatters, but I will have some more soon! They are $10 each ($10.15 for turquoise), free shipping if you’re in the USA. I add extra for international orders. If you don’t see a listing for a color, it’s probably because it’s sold out so get ‘em while you can!
