1. Thank you! I don’t work at a nail salon, I just do my nails for fun :)
2. My nails are real! & you can purchase faux floral designs all over the internet. Try looking for “floral decals” on eBay.
3. They’re Kleancolor 236 Chunky Holo Black; KleanColor 230 Chunky Holo Fuchsia; KleanColor 235 Chunky Holo Bluebell & Kleancolor 234 Chunky Holo Purple.
4. Thank you. noh8campaign.com
5. Hi! Sorry no idea about any stores in LA (even though I’m from LA), but ULTA is a million times better than Sally’s. Only problem is that their prices are retail & not discounted like BZ & the other stores in Garden Grove.

I’ve been on a glitter craze lately! I can’t resist. What I have on is Essie’s Merino Cool on my index & pinky finger & OPI - Ink on my middle & ring finger. All topped with CND’s Sapphire Sparkle! That stuff goes on your fingernails like MAGIC. Look at how gorgeous the glitter effect is! I’m so in love.

1. Hi, I don’t have the exact pattern anymore, but I have some water decals I could use. I’ll try to do a tutorial on applying them as soon as I can, I’m just sooo busy.
2. Yes, you can e-mail me at caleedylanubrey@gmail.com & let me know that you’re the one who contacted me on Tumblr :)
3. You can check out more pictures of the case in my listing on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/78647726/gold-brass-studded-purple-blue-floral
4. Yes, I totally agree. People should be free to express who they are; no matter what, when it all comes down, we’re all human, we’re all equal. They do sell the NOH8 bracelets at their photo shoots & on their website :) http://www.noh8campaign.com/store-items
5. I don’t really do anything besides paint my nails & use top coat (Seche Vite). Maybe you can try looking at the different lines of OPI Nail Envy..they carry a special formula for chipping.
6. eBay! I literally paid less that $9 for all 4.
7. Thanks so much :) I get them from http://fabuloustreet.com
8. I honestly am not sure…I would think it’s the same thing, really, so I don’t see why not. I prefer ridge-fillers that are also base coats.

1. Hi there, well there are tons of polishes to choose from, it’s hard for me to think of them all. I would need to know more about what you like? Do you like nudes? Glitters? If you give me specificially what you like, I can name more than these, but but if you like nude & muted pink colors (which I LOVE), some of my favorites are OPI - Samoan Sand, OPI - Tickle my France-y, OPI - Dulce de Leche, OPI - Barefoot in Barcelona, OPI - Java Mauve-a, Essie - Playa Del Platinum, Essie - Sand Tropez. Dark colors I love are OPI - Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees, OPI - Yoga ta Get This Blue, Essie - Chinchilly, OPI - Midnight is Moscow, OPI - Black Onyx. I’d look into the OPI DS series for some pretty glitters as well as Nfu Oh & China Glaze. The darks I named are good for stamping. When it comes to bright colors needed for designing, Sinful Colors are pretty good (& especially cheap).
2. Hi sorry for taking so long to answer; the vintage floral cases are just a one-piece snap in case; it covers all the sides, but not over the front. I have another blue floral case in my shop that is a 2-piece cover, and the plain colored ones (black & white) can come in either 1-piece or 2-pieces, you choose. Here’s the link to my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/bonniecalee?ref=si_shop
3. Hello! Sorry I have no idea of any stores closer to LA…I’m right in between LA & the OC so I usually just go to Garden Grove. My friend gave me my light tent, but I’m guessing it’s around $50-60? It’s a Giottos Portable Light Tent. And I use a Canon Rebel XS for taking my pictures.
4. Thank you! I appreciate it & am glad that they’re useful to you!
5. (same answer as #2)
6. I definitely will :)

I finally got my lightbox set up so I’m excited to finally take pictures with it (I was getting tired of taking pictures outside, it’s such a hassle to wait for daylight). So I grabbed my two favorite Nubar polishes from my collection just to test it out. Indigo Illusion is SUCH a gorgeous color & it applies so well. From this angle, it looks green & gold, but when you hold the bottle upright, it looks like a dusty blue/purple color. I’m a sucker for duochromes. The bottle next to it is Nubar 2010, the flakies top coat; perfect accent to any nail polish color.

1. Thanks :) I usually use any brand just as long as the color is thicker & not too sheer; and when I scrape it, I pick it up really quick (since it’s not the “special” Konad polish). Maybe Sally Hansen? Or Essie. OPI is always a favorite.
2. You live in the center of it all! Skylark & Beauty Zone are diagonally across from each other. They carry OPI, Essie, China Glaze, Orly & other generic brands for about more than half off.
3. Thanks, I’ll check it out.
4. I know right..oh well, it’s already been done & there’s nothing else I can do about it :P

I’ve been meaning to post galaxy nails for a while! When people ask me for a ‘galaxy nail tutorial’, I always refer attackedastorianails :) And this actually doesn’t take as much effort as you might think; I use a sponge, dabbed on random colors & glitter, drew that little galaxy on the middle finger & finished it off with top coat. It was pretty quick!
What I used:
OPI - My Private Jet (the base color..this was a gift from Megan! Thanks babes)
Forever 21 Love & Beauty - Dusty Blue
OPI - DS Extravagance
OPI - DS Classic
Oops Jealous - Gallexy (I wonder if it was meant to be mispelled, ha)
OPI - Skulls & Glossbones
Essie - St. Lucia Lilac
OPI - Jade is the new Black
Sinful Colors - Cloud 9
Some random yellow polish that I can’t find right now
OPI - Dating a Royal
Nubar - Silver Spark (the bottle I’m holding)
Seche Vite Top Coat

1. Heyyy mama! Nfu Oh!!! They have amazing holo’s & flakies :) (fabuloustreet.com) & also Nubar 2010 is the perfect flakies top coat.
2. Make up sponges from the 99c store!
3. Thank you thank you! Most of the flowers/roses I’ve done are all nail stamps (you can look them up on YouTube) but if there is something really specific that I’ve done in which you’d like me to show, then I can do it.
4. Thanks! :) They’re actually Konad nail stamps & some are generic types. It takes practice, but you’ll get a hand of it in no time.
5. Ahhhhhhhh I love you, seriously. It’s tiring seeing it float around, people acting like it’s theirs, lol. But what I am happy about is that everyone loves it :) Thanks boo.
6. Yes I have! I’ve been meaning to pick some up, but the last time I went to Garden Grove, they were out of it. I really want the purple one. The gold one I love the most is the Sephora by OPI - Blasted Gold :) You should check it out.
7. I’ve never bought the MASH plates, but I do have both the Bundle Monster sets & I LOVE THEM. So worth it, they have gorgeous designs & the quality is great.

1) Hey girl! I’ve never tried the KISS decals; I know they carry little designs, but is this one covering the entire nail? I’m just gonna guess that it’s just like most so yeah, you basically just pick the right size that best suits your nail, then you file off the excess. I always put top coat afterwards :)
2) Just for the at one plate+shipping cost about $8 total.3) I love the Katy Perry collection, I have all the polishes! It was one of the best they come out with, for sure. What top coat do you use? I hardly use base coats anymore, but with my Seche Vite top coat, I can have my nails on for two weeks if I chose to.

Sorry for lagging on answering questions; been sooo busy!
1) Thank you so much! I wish it was easier for me to do more tutorials; my family keeps me extremely occupied! So it may take me a while, but I’m willing to do more. What tutorials would you guys like to see?
2) I love OPI (esp their wide brushes & variety of colors), Essie, Deborah Lippmann, China Glaze, Chanel
3) Thank you, you’re so sweet! I’m glad you enjoy my blog. My nails are all natural & I really don’t do anything but let them grow & I shape them (using a nail file) along the way. I’ve heard good things about OPI Nail Envy; they have a variety for different issues such as chipping or weak nails, so on so forth. I’ve never tried it myself though, but if you do try it out, let me know how it goes! I should try one for strengthening bc I do break my nails from time to time. I use 100% acetone nail polish remover which can be really damaging to my nails.
4) Thank you, no need to be anon :) I get my brushes from eBay, Target & Michael’s. Some tips? Hmm…always research swatches; use a brush like an eyeliner brush to clean the cuticles of your nails; use a thick, fast drying top coat (for me I love Seche Vite) that’ll give your nails a great shine; and practice practice practice!
5) Actually I’ve never even tried Matte About You with any Essie colors; it’s always been with other colors. I know what you mean when you say it gets gunky; that’s how it was for me when I first bought & tried it. You just need the perfect amount on your brush, enough to cover your nail in one coat. I never use more than one coat of the matte. Hope this helps! :)

I’m not too crazy for bright colors on my nails, but I really have an obsession with nude polishes! I think they’re perfect for any season & I can’t get sick of them.
What I used:
OPI - Cotton Candy Coney Island - I’ve been wanting to do a swatch with this color for so long, but I never had the patience for it. & when I say patience, I mean that this color goes on sheer…so I have to wait for each layer to dry completely before I can use my nail stamp on it. I used 3 coats on each nail. For shorter nails, it probably wouldn’t need that many coats, but because I hate letting my nails show, I had to put more.
OPI - Black Onyx - for the nail stamping
Milani - Jewel FX 531 Gold - for the center of the flowers
Seche Vite Top Coat
Image Plate SDP D-09 - I literally spent days looking for this specific image plate. This isn’t by Konad or Bundle Monster. I ordered these from the Netherlands. If you’ve never heard of Dashica Beauty, you MUST check out her webshop. She’s created the most unique & beautiful image plates that I’ve ever seen! She even created “Big” plates that are practically the size of a piece of paper, it’s amazing. You have to contact her to place an order if you’re from the USA..you won’t be disappointed! http://www.dashicabeautyshop.nl/
