Henna print by hand. I’m not used to doing any crazy artwork by brush on my nails, but I have an obsession with henna designs (I think henna tattoos are gorgeous) so I wanted to try. I tried, tried..

I was inspired by Robin Moses—she is a nail art GENIUS & is so very talented. She uses acrylic paint & she can work miracles on nails. I honestly wish I had her skills.

• Forever 21 - “Lavender” I put “” because every time I go to Forever 21, their polishes are labeled differently. I’ll see two totally different polishes with the same name. But this has to be one of my favorite shades from them, I love this purple.

• Nfu Oh #50 - I have an obsession with flakies & this is a new addition to my precious Nfu Oh’s! I wanted a summer color & I thought this mix would be perfect. I’m loving the green / blue flakies!

• OPI “Alpine Snow” - This is the white I used for stamping

• Konad image plate m61 - the floral design

• Seche Vite Top Coat

OPI - Teenage Dream & floral water decals

This is for Anon who asked for the Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday & Milani Gems comparison. On my index & ring finger is Deborah Lippmann. On my middle & pinky finger is Milani Gems. The base color is a gorgeous gold chrome color called PEARLG by Oops! Jealous, which was a gift from my good friend Vicky.

But just looking at it…it’s a total dupe, right?

My DL bottle contains a LOT of silver hex glitters; I don’t know if that’s how it is for other people who own it too, but I like a lot more color variety! And when I look at my Milani Gems bottle, it seems like it’s more mixed & not completely taken over by silver. I love it! Plus it’s about 75% less than what you’d get DL Happy Birthday for. I got mine at Target :)

Sephora by OPI - Blasted Gold

Yup, it’s shatter season! These are the new shatter polishes by Sephora by OPI! Yes! Finally they released a gold shatter polish, something I’ve been looking forward to & hoping they’d release. It’s definitely my favorite out of all the shatters released because I love GOLD! They also have a black & silver, but I don’t really know why since their regular OPI line has those already. When you put it on your nails, use a thin coat, and just one coat because if it’s too thick, you’ll hardly be able to see the base color. I also heard Sally Hansen released a couple crackle polishes, but what can I say, I’m a huge OPI fan!

I also did a swatch over a dark color! I’ll post it up right now too.

It’s my 2 year old son’s birthday party later on this afternoon :) The theme is his favorite: Mickey Mouse! I was inspired by the Disneyland Mickey balloons. I used a bunch of different colors for the balloons & coated them with OPI - I Juggle Men (a sheer polish with tiny shimmery purple & blue glitters); thumb & ring finger have Deborah Lippmann’s Happy Birthday :)

His real birthday is this Monday the 23rd, but happy happy birthday anyways to my lil handsome son Dylan!
