Hi everyone! I hope all is well; I haven’t been updating this nail blog is SO long because life is so busy for us nowadays. I just wanted to share a recent mani that I posted on my Instagram (@caleemama) :)This holiday mani was inspired by @stephstonenails, she is SO amazing! You have to look up her Tumblr & Instagram because she is quite a talented artist. Her mani was featured in Allure magazine, and once I saw it, I instantly ran to my polish collection & grabbed all the perfect colors. I used:
Zoya - SkyeOPI - Skull & GlossbonesNubar - White Polka DotSeche Vite Top Coat
I absolutely LOVE the turn-out! It’s probably my favorite mani that I’ve done on myself all year (with the lack of time I have nowadays, doing my nails gets more and more exciting for me). As always, chunky glitter is a favorite!
Anyways, I know I’m not always on here, but you guys can always keep in touch with me through my INSTAGRAM: @caleemama & I’ll do my best to keep updating this blog as much as I can! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU ALL! <3

Fiiiiinally! A new post!
So I (along with many people, I’m assuming) am so obsessed with the mint color this Spring! This color is called “Aphrodisiac” & it’s by Wonder Beauty Products (you can find her collection on Etsy here). With her collection, you basically receive a little palette/kit that includes a jar with the main color, a bottle of clear coat, and a mixing stick. You have to constantly mix the color in order to get the glitters around evenly, and I literally had to mix before applying each layer. It takes a bit of time, but I like that I can get the glitters mixed evenly and apply it well. You also have to use the brush of the clear coat to apply the color, so it was a bit of a hassle to clean the brush every time I had to put it back in the clear coat bottle. It’s a lot more work than your normal nail polish bottle, but the color was just so damn cute; I had to get it! The best part is that each palette only costs $10 each, and she even accepts custom orders! I think I may have to request a color of my own. :)
Overall, I loved the results. A gorgeous mint with gold & silver hex glitters & gold, silver & green micro glitters. The base mint color is not too bright/neon, and not too light, which is the perfect green for me. Lovesssss it.

1. Hi, I can definitely make one for your iPod Touch, but it doesn’t come in the vintage floral pattern, only in the blue floral pattern (http://www.etsy.com/listing/76907132/gold-brass-studded-blue-floral-ipod)..Otherwise, you can get one in a plain color? Just message me on Etsy :)
2. They are a bit on the lower quality level, however I love their colors & I love using them for nail art. And I love their price!
3. YES. I will soon :)
4. Before I dipped the decals in water & applied them to my nails, I cut them to fit my nails. It was really easy! I bought those water decals on eBay a while back.

I’m baaack! Sorry for the lack of posts; been on that school/work/motherhood grind. I’m trying to fit a Halloween manicure in tonight so hopefully I’ll have it up just in time!
What I’m wearing:Chanel - Lotus Rouge
Honestly, I hate putting red on because it gets messy & stains so easily, but this nail polish applied flawlessly. IN LOVE. Seriously. Simple yet classy.

Anonymous said: Hello calee :] is there something I can use for my Seche Vite top coat? It's so thick now and I haven't even used half of it. Thank you!

I hate it when it does that. Seche Vite tends to get thick once it hits almost halfway through the bottle. They have a special Seche Vite thinner for it that’ll help you out; I buy mine online :)

ohthatquietgirl said: No matter what I do I have at least one nail chipped 24 hours after painting it. I've used nail polish as good as Butter London and I always use my Seche Vite top coat. Any tips?

Have you heard of the OPI Nail Envy line? I constantly hear & read about it. They have special formulas for different issues, and for chipping they have one called Chip Skip. Maybe that will work for you! You can use like 2 coats before applying your nail polish. I haven’t tried it personally, but if you do, let me know how it works.

1, 2 & 3. Dollar Nail Art will change your life.4. I use an eyeliner brush from Target! It’s super cheap & works so well. I’ll try to do one soon..I always say this because I’m busy 24/7, but I’ll try to asap.
5. Could your nail polish be thick? You can try to buy a nail polish thinner to make the consistency better.
6. You can buy a base? Or for me I don’t even use my base anymore, my Seche Vite Top Coat works wonders!
